The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) provides a unique opportunity for orientation, transition, and retention professionals to participate in a six-month professional development program in preparation for future NODA leadership participation.
The program is generally for professionals who possess less than 4 years of professional experience in orientation, transition, and retention, and is not open to graduate or undergraduate students or professionals who currently hold or previously held an appointed or elected position in NODA. We recognize that many professionals have significant professional experience in higher education, but our primary goal is to serve emerging professionals in the field. This cohort program is built to prepare future Association leaders and promote involvement within the profession while introducing participants to a variety of topics impacting our field.
Application for the 2024/2025 cohort will open in October
