NODA is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not collect any personal information that you do not volunteer, and we are the sole owner of all information collected. We do not sell, share, or rent this information to others in any way that we have not mentioned in this statement.
Directory Information
Only NODA members have access to the NODA directory of members. The following is listed as part of the membership directory: name, title, institution, institution email, office phone, email address and membership type.
Membership / Leadership Status
If you are holding one of the following leadership positions your name, institution, and email will be listed on the NODA website: association officer, board member, regional coordinator, association committee chairs, standing appointments, editors, network chairs, regional leadership, regional conference hosts, and annual conference host and committee members.
Information Shared
NODA may, at its discretion, provide membership information collected on the membership registration / renewal form to association leadership (such as committees, state, provincial, or regional leaders) for the sole purpose of conducting official NODA business. Certain member information is shared with Associate Members in accordance with the Association Member agreement.
Third Parties
NODA contracts with third party vendors to assist in the delivery of service to the membership. These third party vendors maintain a strict and separate set of privacy guidlelines. NODA only shares information necessary to provide the service requested.
Cookies
Like many other websites, NODA uses cookies to identify members so they don’t have to re-enter a user id and password when accessing different components of the website and engaging in online community. If you do not have cookies enabled, you must enter your password each time you access our site or any of its member features.
Conference / Program Registration Information
Information received for conference or other program registrations will be used strictly for conference planning and accommodating purposes. Exhibitors at the annual conference are provided the email of conference participants to use once. We want to assure you we are committed to making our best efforts to ensure your payment information remains private. Our online payment system is encrypted and uses the https security protocol. Credit card information is not stored at the association office.
NODA Listservs
NODA maintains a listserv for general membership and for each region. As a member you are automatically signed up for the general listserv and your appropriate regional listserv. Only members and association office are able to post directly to those listservs. Associate members are allowed to opt into the listserv. Associate members are not allowed to directly post to the listservs. If you would like to opt out of this listserv, you may do so by following the directions at the bottom of the listserv email or emailing the Association office at noda@umn.edui
